I was born in Matsudo-shi, Chiba, Japan in 1947. I am a full-time knife maker now. My previous occupation was a graphic designer. I started engraving at the same time as making knives but I learnt how to engrave by myself. The cases that my wife Yuko makes just fits with the knife made for only one. Many thanks to Yuko!!!		It is after I married my husband that I started designing and making leather bags. At that time, I never dreamt that I'd make cases for knives my husband makes.
